On Saturday, the Al Ain Weightlifting Championship will begin, organized by the Abu Dhabi Club under the patronage of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and in cooperation with the Al Ain Cultural and Sports Club. The event will feature 55 male and female athletes and will be held at Tahnoon bin Muhammad Stadium in Al Qattara. This marks the first competition organized by the Abu Dhabi Club, which specializes in the sport, outside the capital. The competitions include three categories: men, women, and youth, with a total prize pool of 51,000 dirhams. The men's category features four weight classes: 71 kg, 88 kg, 110 kg, and over 110 kg.
